Location: Basildon, Essex

Salary: Circa £20,000 – £21,300 + Excellent Benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Our client, a prominent healthcare institution in South Essex, is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Receptionist to join their growing team.

Duties:

• Greet patients, efficiently book them in, and offer guidance on specimens and samples.
• Direct patients within the hospital, assist the Phlebotomy team, and maintain a positive image in person and over the phone.
• Ensure effective reception service during operating hours
• Contribute to a positive and friendly environment for patients and visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in healthcare or patient-facing roles.
• Basic CPR and First Aid certification.
• GCSE/O Level in Maths and English.
• Proficient in IT skills, including Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Must own a car.

Working Hours:

• Operates from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
• Rotates for Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday shifts.
