A reputable school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and friendly receptionist to join their team. The working hours for this role are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on Fridays.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or a reception role. As the ‘front face’ of the school, the appointed applicant will be responsible for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all visitors, students, and staff.

Key duties include

• Managing the front desk
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Handling inquiries
• Providing general administrative support.

Experience using SIMS (School Information Management System) is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will be proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and have excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Other essential qualities include strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. The role also involves maintaining visitor logs, handling mail, coordinating appointments, and ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable.
