Role Overview:

As an Office Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. You will provide essential support services within the office and reception function, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain file archives and databases, ensuring easy retrieval of legal documents.
• Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional reception service to clients, suppliers, and visitors.
• Handle telephone calls, take accurate messages, and assist with client inquiries.
• Assist with general office and administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
• Manage stationery stock and run errands in the town center as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• GCSE in Maths and English (A -C) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role or customer service position preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a courteous telephone manner.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
