Your new role
I am seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join my client’s Site & Facilities team. This front-of-house role is key to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for visitors and staff alike. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, and capable of handling a variety of administrative and client-facing tasks with discretion and professionalism.
35 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 07:45 – 15:00
Friday: 07:45 – 13:45
(Slight flexibility in finish times may be considered)
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, including low-volume switchboard calls.Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, checking arrival details via the Visitor Notification System and notifying the appropriate host.Manage bookings for company vehicles, hire cars, and taxis, in coordination with the site services team and administrators.Support security with guest sign-ins and the issuance of temporary access badges.Handle in-person queries and direct them appropriately within the site services team.Maintain a professional appearance in business or smart casual attire (no uniform required).What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Receptionist or in an administrative role within a client-facing environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Comfortable interacting with external visitors and clients.Demonstrates confidence, tact, and diplomacy.Understands and respects confidentiality in all aspects of the role.Desirable: Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) environment with regular external client visits.What you need to do now
