Job Title: School Receptionist ENHANCED DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE REQUIRED

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Remuneration: £13 per hour

Contract Details: Monday – Friday 7:45am – 4pm 30 minute lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the welcome experience for all visitors, parents, and students, reflecting the warm and inclusive nature of our school community.
• Professionally handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate member of staff.
• Manage the sign-in and sign-out process for students and visitors, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain and update student and staff records, including attendance and absence monitoring.
• Coordinate the school’s daily operations, providing administrative support to teaching staff and managers.
• Be the first point of contact for parents, providing information and assistance as required.
• Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Support the school office with general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing positively to a cohesive and harmonious team.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all aspects of the role.

We are looking for a proactive and friendly individual to join our dynamic school team as a temporary School Receptionist. With excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, you will create a positive impression for our students, parents, and visitors. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, be able to multitask efficiently, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service is a must for this role.
